New character preset, level 45. Skill totals include the selected Daevanion bonuses. Match the map before allocating skill points. Source checked 2026-10-05; September 30 dates the database. Starter plan, without an in-game DPS test.
Combat settings
Enable Skill Queue under Settings > Combat > Controls. Assign the macro to right mouse in Key Settings > General > Macro. Manual skills take priority. Mouse hotkeys do not work in AION 1 Control Mode.
Enhancement and Amplification — budget plan
Editorial budget plan: do not maximize every leveling drop. Consider +10 for an Epic/Unique weapon you will keep; Rare caps at +5. Reserve Unique +11–15 and Amplification +1–5 for a deliberate long-term target. Amplification requires an eligible +15 item. This starter does not assume it.
Other equipment layers
When upgrading, check weapon/off-hand, armor, jewelry and unlocked special slots separately. Record Soul Binding, Manastones, Theostones and Potential on the chosen item. This preset does not assume unverified rolls or expensive PvP bonuses.
Collections and preparation
Titles, pets, Genus, Monolith, appearance collection, food and scrolls depend on your account. No imaginary collection totals or free bonuses are assumed. Record owned effects after copying. Concrete follow-up targets appear below only where supported by a source.
Equipment targets
After leveling: weapon/guard — Combat Speed, Weapon Damage Boost, Might, Precision, Damage Boost. Rings: Overhead Slam, Rending Blow, Ruinous Blow. Armor: chest Damage Boost, shoulder Critical Damage Boost, glove Combat Speed, boot Move Speed. Consider Noble Belt, Revelation Amulet, Clash Rune.
Arcana — follow-up targets
Parchment: Overhead Slam / Ruinous Blow. Compass: Rending Blow. Mirror: Experienced Counterstrike / Murderous Burst. Bell: Attack Preparation.
Wings — choices and alternatives
Dark Veil Wings for damage; Talisra as a Cooldown Reduction alternative. These are alternatives; the source does not establish one universal winner.
Genus Insight choices
Varian, slot 4: Front Attack Damage Boost. Special, slot 4: Smite.
