Source guide scope
New character preset, level 45. Skill totals include the selected Daevanion bonuses. Match the map before allocating skill points. Source checked 2026-10-05; September 30 dates the database. Starter plan, without an in-game DPS test.
Combat settings
Enable Skill Queue under Settings > Combat > Controls. Assign the macro to right mouse in Key Settings > General > Macro. Manual skills take priority. Mouse hotkeys do not work in AION 1 Control Mode.
Enhancement and Amplification — budget plan
Editorial budget plan: do not maximize every leveling drop. Consider +10 for an Epic/Unique weapon you will keep; Rare caps at +5. Reserve Unique +11–15 and Amplification +1–5 for a deliberate long-term target. Amplification requires an eligible +15 item. This starter does not assume it.
Other equipment layers
When upgrading, check weapon/off-hand, armor, jewelry and unlocked special slots separately. Record Soul Binding, Manastones, Theostones and Potential on the chosen item. This preset does not assume unverified rolls or expensive PvP bonuses.
Collections and preparation
Titles, pets, Genus, Monolith, appearance collection, food and scrolls depend on your account. No imaginary collection totals or free bonuses are assumed. Record owned effects after copying. Concrete follow-up targets appear below only where supported by a source.
Equipment targets
Later author targets: weapon/guard — Combat Speed, Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Multi-hit Chance, Might. Armor passives: Wind’s Promise, Attack Preparation, Impact Hit. Rings: Onslaught, Dark Crush, Spinning Strike and Recuperation. Older September 25 source; its maximum gear ranks are not assumed for this starter.
Wings — choices and alternatives
Later author alternatives: Forest Spirit for bosses, Dark Veil for general damage or Talisra for Cooldown Reduction. Check availability in your Global client; these are not required for this skill setup.
Genus Insight choices
Slot 4: Cogni — Critical Damage Boost; Fera — Weapon Damage Boost; Natura — Perfect Chance / Multi-hit Chance; Varian — Back Attack Damage Boost; Special — Double Chance.
Arcana — follow-up targets
Later Arcana bonuses should support Onslaught, Dark Crush, Spinning Strike and Recuperation, plus Wind’s Promise, Attack Preparation and Impact Hit. Maximum cards are not assumed at this starting point.
